PREAMBLE
These general terms and conditions of sale govern sales made on the Lesable.co website, operated by Hala Doumal under the status of self-employed, registered under SIRET number 93306401600019 and whose head office is located at 55, rue du Château d’Eau – 75010 Paris. All items available on the site are handmade jewellery created by Lesable.co.
By placing an order on the Lesable.co website, you unreservedly accept these general terms and conditions of sale.
ARTICLE 1 – PRODUCTS
The products offered for sale are handcrafted jewellery, detailed on the site with their main characteristics (materials, dimensions, weight, etc.). The photographs of the products are as faithful as possible, but cannot ensure perfect similarity with the real product, particularly in terms of colors. Lesable.co reserves the right to modify the product offer at any time.
ARTICLE 2 – PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (VAT not applicable - article 293B of the CGI). Delivery costs are added to the final price and are specified before the order is validated. Lesable.co reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in effect at the time of the order.
ARTICLE 3 – ORDER
The order process on the Lesable.co website is as follows:
1. Selection of the product(s) and addition to the basket.
2. Validation of the basket and verification of the information (price, delivery costs, etc.).
3. Entry of the contact details required for delivery.
4. Choice of payment method.
5. Final validation of the order.
Once the order has been validated, a confirmation email summarizing the details of the order will be sent to the email address indicated.
ARTICLE 4 – PAYMENT
Orders are paid for by credit card via a secure payment platform. No order will be shipped before full payment is received. Lesable.co does not store any banking data. In the event of refusal of payment by the banking institutions, the order will be automatically cancelled.
ARTICLE 5 – DELIVERY
Products are delivered with signature by the Colissimo service of La Poste to the address indicated when ordering. Delivery costs and times are specified when confirming the order and vary depending on the destination.
Delivery times:
- Metropolitan France: [2-3] working days.
- Europe: [4-6] working days.
- International: [6-15] working days.
Lesable.co cannot be held responsible for delivery delays attributable to the carrier.
ARTICLE 6 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.
To exercise this right, the customer must send an email to talktome@lesable.co specifying their intention to withdraw. Any product return requires the prior agreement of Lesable.co. Unworn products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, to the following address: 55, rue du Château d’Eau – 75010 Paris.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer. Reimbursement will be made within 14 days after receipt of the products in perfect condition.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal: Personalized or custom-made items cannot be subject to a right of withdrawal, in accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code.
ARTICLE 7 – GUARANTEES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The products sold on Lesable.co benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with the legal provisions of articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the Consumer Code and articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code. In the event of a lack of conformity or hidden defect, the customer can choose between repair, exchange or refund of the product.
ARTICLE 8 – PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal information collected when ordering is necessary for managing the order and sending the products. This information is confidential and will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances, except for shipping purposes (carrier). In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data by contacting us at talktome@lesable.co.
ARTICLE 9 – APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
In the event of a dispute arising from an order, the Customer may submit a written complaint to Customer Service at talktome@lesable.co.
In the event of a complaint not resolved amicably by Customer Service and for a period of one year, the customer may use the CM2C mediation service free of charge, to which Hala Doumal EI is a member, electronically at cm2c@cm2c.net or by post: CM2C – 49, rue de Ponthieu – 75008 Paris or on their website https://www.cm2c.net/, in accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code. The Mediator Service may be contacted for any consumer dispute for which an amicable settlement has not been successful.
In the absence of an agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
